Lynda Bybee currently serves as the Chief Communications Officer for LA Metro.  During her sixteen year career with the agency she has provided leadership for community relations, local governance, construction mitigation and outreach management for project studies and agency initiatives. In her current role as CCO, she oversees the promotion of Metro ridership and dissemination of information to the public on Metro projects, programs and service. A native Californian, Ms. Bybee started her professional career in New York as a documentary filmmaker and subsequently returned to Los Angeles where she managed and produced regional theater. Before joining Metro, she was Southern California Regional Director of Business Development for an international contracting firm.  She has been affiliated with the Writers Guild, Dramatists Guild, Women’s Transportation Seminar, and currently serves as Vice President of the Hollywood Entertainment District’s BID.
