Julie Lein Title: President and Co-founder, Tumml NACTO Title: Speaker, Designing Cities Conference Julie is the Co-founder and President of Tumml, an urban ventures accelerator based in San Francisco. A nonprofit, Tumml’s mission is to empower entrepreneurs to solve urban problems. Since Tumml’s inception less than two years ago, the organization has supported over 50 entrepreneurs from 17 startups, working to solve community issues from homelessness to workforce development for blue-collar workers. Tumml’s work has been recognized as “The Next Urban Innovation” by the Initiative for a Competitive Inner City, awarded as the “Best Startup” at the San Francisco Business Times Tech and Innovation Awards, and named as a Forbes 30 Under 30 for Social Entrepreneurship.
