Chinatown’s Vision

Take the Water Taxi down to beautiful Ping Tom Park in Chicago’s Chinatown, one of the nation’s largest and one of the only Chinatowns in the country that is still growing with recent immigrants. Learn about public and private river trail development, boathouses, the Wells-Wentworth Connector project (which will create a new mixed-use corridor connecting Chinatown to Downtown), and the new Cermak CTA Green Line Station. Also learn about the recent Chinatown Vision Plan, and its recommendations to improve walkability and address other transportation challenges in the historic neighborhood.
