Tim Frémaux

Tim Frémaux works as a Senior Transportation Engineer for the Los Angeles Department of Transportation, overseeing LADOT’s two San Fernando Valley District Offices. District Offices serve as the front lines for the Department, evaluating issues and concerns brought up by constituents, elected officials, and other stakeholders, and responding to those inquiries with transportation solutions.

Tim previously worked in a lead capacity on engineering solutions to improve safety Citywide as part of the City’s Vision Zero initiative. He has worked for LADOT for 17 years, in varying capacities associated with active transportation infrastructure with an emphasis on the expansion of the City’s bicycle network. Tim has managed the development and implementation of the My Figueroa project since its oversight was taken over by the Department in 2012. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Southern California.
