Sindhu is a policy analyst and advocate dedicated to building city transportation systems that are safe, sustainable, and equitable. As NACTO’s Program Manager for Policy, Sindhu coordinates with city leaders across North America to identify and advance the organization’s top policy priorities.
At NACTO, Sindhu represents cities’ transportation interests at the state and national levels on a wide range of policy areas from transportation funding reform to traffic safety to autonomous vehicles. She led NACTO’s engagement during the development of the 2021 Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act, and continues to work closely with partners and member cities to inform its implementation. Sindhu also helped lead the creation of a number of NACTO publications, including the second edition of NACTO’s Blueprint for Autonomous Urbanism, Managing Mobility Data, and leads the development of the organization’s annual policy platform.
Sindhu holds a BA in Politics and Cultural Studies from New York University and an MS in Environmental Policy and Planning from the University of Michigan.
