Luis Montoya leads a section in the Livable Streets subdivision of the SFMTA, where he oversees the planning, design, and construction of projects to improve safety and promote walking and bicycling in San Francisco. In addition to planning and implementing a variety of projects, the teams Luis manages study emerging trends in complete streets design, create design guidelines, conduct analysis on the need and prioritization of various safety measures, and program funding for the subdivision.
