Kevin O’Neill

Kevin O’Neill, AICP, is the Street Use Director for the Seattle Department of Transportation (SDOT), and manages work relating to right-of-way management and policy development, public space management, development review, and capital project coordination. Kevin has been at SDOT since 2011, and his work there has focused on strategic planning, development of modal master plans, comprehensive planning, and right-of-way allocation policies. Kevin has over 30 years of municipal planning and policy development experience, and prior to working at SDOT was the Director of Transportation Planning for the City of Bellevue, Washington. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Planners and the University of Washington Urban Design and Planning Professionals Council. Kevin received a bachelor’s degree from the University of Vermont and master’s degrees in City and Regional Planning and Public Administration from The Ohio State University.
