Join the City of San José and NACTO for an exciting Digital Design Charrette about what to do with multilane two-way streets slated for both all-ages bikeways and two-way conversion. Mike Sallaberry, Senior Bikeway Engineer at SFMTA, and Becky Katz, Manager of Cycling and Pedestrian Projects for the City of Toronto, along with her colleague, Saikat Basak, will offer experience and wisdom as San Jose chooses between innovative design possibilities. This Digital Design Charrette builds on two years of work by San José and NACTO on the Central San José Better Bike Network, which launched in 2018 with five miles of protected bike lanes in Northern California’s biggest city.
