Four Steps to Register

Pack your passport, but first, read our travel tips.
② Review your WalkShops / Workshop options.
Registered attendees can choose from over 40 different WalkShops (no additional fees apply) and pre-conference Workshops (priced at $175 each). See your options on our full schedule of events.
③ Register for Designing Cities 2019.
NACTO is dedicated to delivering a best-in-class event, and limits the conference size to ensure a meaningful experience for all attending.
* NACTO Member tickets are limited to employees of NACTO member transportation, public works, or transit departments or agencies. If you have questions about eligibility, please email [email protected].
**Member registrations are prioritized. Interested attendees from the private sector are welcome and selected based on alignment with NACTO’s mission and history serving NACTO member agency interests.
If you are a prospective private sector attendee, please complete this interest form by July 10, 2019. You may also consider sponsoring the conference, which includes guaranteed registration. If you missed the deadline or have any questions, please reach out to [email protected].

Additional Information
What’s Included?
Registration includes access to all plenaries and breakout sessions, and three WalkShops (on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday). There are no additional fees for WalkShops. In addition, registration includes:
- Monday night’s opening reception, with complimentary refreshments and substantial hors d’oeuvres
- Breakfast on Tuesday and Wednesday
- Lunch on Tuesday
Additional fees apply for in-depth workshops on Monday morning ($175).
Scholarships
NACTO has limited funds available for discounted registrations or travel scholarships. Invited speakers and employees of NACTO member cities and transit agencies are prioritized. Submit your request for a scholarship by June 3, 2019 for consideration. Submit your request via this online form, or download the request form here (pdf).
Conference hotel
Designing Cities 2019 will take place at the Sheraton Centre Toronto, just across from Nathan Phillips Square, as well as across the city of Toronto and the Greater Toronto Area.

Refund Policy
Registration fees will be refunded if a request is received in writing no later than Thursday, August 8, 2019. NACTO reserves the right to charge a 20% cancellation fee. Direct refund requests by email to [email protected]. Be sure to provide your confirmation number.
