Faye Dastgheib is a senior policy analyst at the District Department of Transportation. In her role at DDOT’s Policy Office, she conducts quantitative and qualitative analysis across a range of transportation topics, including shared mobility, parking and transit. She develops multi-modal policies that govern public space use while considering impacts on city-wide transportation systems. During her role as the District’s carsharing manager, Faye led coordination and implementation of the District’s cross-jurisdictional point-to-point carsharing program to link 800 fleet vehicles between the District and Arlington County. Prior to DDOT, Faye was the City of Alexandria’s parking manager. In her role, she was responsible for using research and data analysis to formulate strategies and provide recommendations to improve operations and policy for on- and off-street facilities. Faye holds a master’s degree in urban and regional planning from Virginia Commonwealth University.
