Traditional service planning—focused on 9-5 commuters—misses most trips that people take in a day, and devalues the essential workers that keep our cities running. As cities and transit agencies begin to build back from the Covid-19 pandemic, they must rethink how and where they deliver service to expand access and encourage more people to ride transit. In this interactive, members-only workshop, learn the latest practical tools transit agencies and cities can use to optimize service around limited operator availability, redesign bus networks, and measure the metrics that matter most to transit riders.
Wednesday, May 18, 2-4pm ET / 11am – 1pm PT
*This event is only open to staff in NACTO member and partner agencies. Registration details for members will be shared through our transit listserv. Attendance is capped at 75 to keep the workshop as interactive as possible. Please register in advance if you plan to attend.
