This summer series of one-hour webinars on Zoom is a continuation of the popular, fun networking event, Meet the Cities, that takes place at Designing Cities every year. At Meet the Cities, NACTO members prepare posters on an initiative, program, or project they want to showcase. At each webinar, representatives will present the posters they created for the conference and a Q&A.
If you couldn’t make the conference or didn’t meet everyone, this is your chance to learn about what other NACTO members are working on.
Here’s the line up of presenters for this session:
- Kristin Calkins & Brian Shelton, Principal Transportation Planner and Principal Active Transportation Planner, Arlington County, on Arlington’s Transportation Future: Arlington’s Multimodal Transportation Plan Refresh
- Caitlin Ward & Michael Greco, Vision Zero Engineer and Vision Zero Planner, City of Orlando, on Orlando’s City Walkable and Safe Speeds Lab
- Liz Callin & Ben Dimenstein, Principal Transportation Planner and Transportation Planner, City of Madison, on [topic to be confirmed]
- Kyle Nelson, Bicycle & Pedestrian Coordinator, City of St. Louis, on Transportation and Mobility Plan
- Chris Corrao & David Fenn, Senior Transportation Planner, City of West Hollywood, on Advocacy for Metro K Line Rail Extension to West Hollywood and Fountain Avenue Road Diet
The one hour sessions happen on Wednesdays at 3 p.m. from June 24 – August 5.
Register for the series and stop by to learn from your peers!
This event is only open to staff at NACTO member agencies. Member agency staff can find information on how to join the meeting on our member forum, here.
