NACTO leads the national conversation on urban transportation by combining real-world experience from cities across North America with emerging research and staff expertise. We offer ambitious but achievable recommendations and technical guidance for all levels of government to achieve streets that prioritize people and community.
NACTO’s guidance has been recognized by hundreds of local governments, many states, and the U.S. federal government. Most recently, NACTO guidance has been approved for broader use by the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act (the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law).
