This summer series of one-hour webinars on Zoom is a continuation of the popular, fun networking event, Meet the Cities, that takes place at Designing Cities every year. At Meet the Cities, NACTO members prepare posters on an initiative, program, or project they want to showcase.
At each webinar, representatives will present the posters they created for the conference and a Q&A. If you couldn’t make the conference or didn’t meet everyone, this is your chance to learn about what other NACTO members are working on.
Here’s the line up of presenters for this session:
- Sabine King, Supervising Engineer, City of Mesa, on Comprehensive Safety Action Plan Implementation
- Benjamin Wright, Senior Transportation Engineer, City of Bellevue, on Safe Speeds Bellevue
- Sylvia Star-Lack, Transportation Planning Manager, City of Palo Alto, on Winding Down Small City Microtransit
- Liz Brisson & Jacob Henke, Planning, San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency
- Valerie Hermanson, Transportation Planning Manager, City of Albuquerque, on Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Avenue Separated Bike Lane Pilot Project
- Bailey Lai, Project Manager, Bus Priority, New York City Department of Transportation, on Madison Avenue Bus Lanes (Bus Action Plan)
The one hour sessions happen on Wednesdays at 3 p.m. from June 24 – August 5. Register for the series and stop by to learn from your peers!
This event is only open to staff at NACTO member agencies. Member agency staff can find information on how to join the meeting on our member forum, here.
