Ryan Lanyon has been working in urban transportation for 20 years, in the areas of policy development, demand management, operations and administration. He is the Chair of the Automated Vehicles Interdivisional Working Group for the City of Toronto. He also serves as the Manager of the City’s street furniture program, a $900 million public-private partnership with Astral Out-of-Home to install and maintain 25,000 transit shelters, litter bins, benches and other elements.
Ryan has an interdisciplinary undergraduate degree focused on Urban Studies from Carleton University, a certificate in Marketing from Algonquin College, and a master’s degree in Sustainable Business Leadership from Lund University in Sweden.
