Peter Eccles is a Transportation Planner at the City of Houston’s Planning and Development Department. From crosswalks to freeway corridors, he coordinates across Houston’s constellation of agencies, community groups and advocacy organizations to support projects that broaden multimodal options and have robust public buy-in. He received his Bachelor of Arts in Urban Studies from Vassar College in Poughkeepsie, N.Y. He is an avid cyclist, an instructor certified by the League of American Bicyclists, has completed over 4,000 miles of cross-country touring, and spends his weekends giving historical bike tours of Downtown Houston.
