Nader Asmar is a registered Traffic Engineer in the State of California and is a 30-year veteran of the Los Angeles Department of Transportation. He has been involved in many of the Department’s initiatives, including the buildout of the City’s computerized traffic signal control system (ATSAC), Planning and Development Review, the Speed Hump Program, Project Coordination, Traffic Surveys and District Operations. He currently oversees the Vision Zero Program and is the co-chair of the Department’s Complete Streets Committee.
