Mike Schofield joined the City of Austin in 2015 as a Multimodal Street Designer in the Transportation Department. He works to design and implement multimodal great streets as well as plan projects to connect the bicycle network.

Mike leads the department in design review of work by other divisions, departments, and agencies to ensure connectivity and safety for non-auto modes. He holds a Master of Science in Transportation Engineering from the University of Texas and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Michigan Technological University.
