Mari Hunter is a senior transportation planner with the San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency. She studied Mathematical Economics at the Colorado College and civil engineering and urban planning at the University of Minnesota. For the past 4 years, she has been working at the SFMTA as a project manager on multimodal projects and more recently, as a lead for the agency on Vision Zero, the City’s policy to eliminate traffic fatalities by 2024. With respect to Vision Zero work, Mari coordinates projects, processes and policy within the SFMTA and works closely with the city’s Department of Public Health, to coordinate Vision Zero efforts among city agencies.
