Liza has spent the last two years leading the effort to bring bike share to St. Louis, including convening a working group of stakeholders, engaging the community, and writing the dockless bike share permit regulations with robust social equity requirements. The permit has brought three different companies to St. Louis and over 300,000 rides from a diverse set of riders since its launch this summer.
As a project manager at Bi-State Development, St. Louis’ transit agency, she also focuses on Transit-Oriented Development planning and projects. Liza grew up in Lawrence, Kansas but comes to St. Louis from California, where she graduated from Claremont McKenna College with a degree in Environment, Economics, and Politics. She previously worked in the San Francisco/Silicon Valley region on environmental permitting, transit-oriented development, and bike/pedestrian planning.
