Lauren Nixon is a facilitator, trainer, and manager with a rich and diverse background in designing curriculum, building teams, and facilitating space for sustainability-forward and equity-centered organizations.
Recently, Lauren has held positions in operations management, team management, and facilitation with The Democracy Collaborative, Institute for Public Health Innovation, the Prince George’s County Food Equity Council, and the National Collaborative for Health Equity. Lauren has been a featured speaker at conferences such as Esca Bona and Expo East.
Lauren has also had the pleasure of facilitating workshops and designing curriculum for The Free Library of Philadelphia’s Get HYPE Philly! program, training national service members and collaborating on the design of a program guide for FoodCorps, and working in facilitation with the Agatston Urban Nutrition Initiative at The University of Pennsylvania.
Lauren holds a B.A. from The New School and a M.A. from New York University.
