Josh Naramore is the Senior Program Manager for Policy at NACTO helping to guide NACTO’s policy efforts, harnessing the voices of city transportation professionals to improve state, local, and federal transportation policy.
Throughout his career, Josh has worked in the public sector. Prior to joining NACTO, Josh served as the Mobile GR Director for the City of Grand Rapids, Michigan, establishing a new department to manage parking, mobility and transportation for the city. While there, he led the development of Grand Rapids’ Equitable Economic Development and Mobility Strategic Plan. Before that, Josh worked for state and regional government agencies in a variety of roles encompassing grant management, stakeholder engagement, supervision of engineers and planners, transportation planning, and policy development in Cleveland, Portland OR, and South Florida.
Josh received his BA in Political Science from the University of Michigan and MPA from the School of Public and Environmental Affairs at Indiana University.
