While in law school at University of Florida, I fell in love with bicycles. I’d used a bicycle as one of my primary modes of transportation (along with the bus and walking) for most of my time in Madison, both during my undergrad and thereafter, but I hadn’t fully appreciated the art, the independence, the elegant simplicity of the Bicycle.
In addition to falling in love with bicycles while in law school, I did learn a thing or two about the legal system. Due to my passion for and commitment to the environment I worked extensively with the Center for Governmental Responsibility, researching and studying the impacts of the Deepwater Horizon oil spill on local fishing communities. I also, worked on a purported class action regarding a Superfund site in Gainesville, FL.
Although I enjoyed my time in Florida, after five years, it was time to come home. I followed my passion for bicycles since I wasn’t admitted to the bar yet, and worked on ride support for Wheel & Sprocket. As the riding season came to a close, I found my dream job, working on bikes, and using my law degree at Bublr Bikes!
