Jacquelyn Hayward is the Director of Transportation Project Design & Management at the City of Toronto – the 4th largest and most culturally-diverse City in North America. In this role, Jacquelyn is responsible for a fantastic team of professionals leading the design and delivery of a wide-range of projects including Vision Zero road safety projects, major transportation infrastructure, pedestrian and cycling infrastructure and neighbourhood projects including street art. This work involves multi-modal project design, impact assessment, community consultation, obtaining Council approval, and oversight of project implementation. Jacquelyn has 17 years of experience in both the public and non-profit sectors focused on transportation infrastructure and transportation demand management.
Jacquelyn holds an Executive Development Certificate from the Schulich School of Business as well as a Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Studies from York University, and is a certified Project Management Professional. She currently serves as a Board Member for WTS Toronto Chapter and the Vice Chair of the Transportation Finance Committee for the Transportation Association of Canada.
