Serving as Councilmember Mike Bonin’s LAX Liaison, Geoff works closely with the airport and other city agencies on infrastructure-related projects related to LAX’ multi-billion dollar renovations and future connections to public transportation. Geoff has been serving in this capacity since spring of 2017. Prior to his role at the airport, Geoff served as Interim Transportation Policy Director for Bonin, Chair of the Transportation Committee of City Council and Metro Board Member. He’s been living in Los Angeles since 2015, when he made his westward migration from Philadelphia as a FUSE Fellow working to address homelessness here in the region. Prior to his California life in the public sector, Geoff worked for over a decade as a business and tech consultant in the private sector. He has advocated for multi-modal transportation improvements and public space enhancements in his former home of Philadelphia. He holds a Master’s in City and Regional Planning from the University of Amsterdam and is a dual citizen / proud Dutchman who enjoys cycling, international travel, and public policy.
