Don Blakeney is Vice President of Advocacy & Economic Development at the Downtown Seattle Association (DSA). The DSA is a member-based non-profit 501(c)(4) organization that works to champion a vibrant urban core for Downtown Seattle through public policy advocacy, economic development and marketing. The DSA also administers Seattle’s Metropolitan Improvement District, which provides streetscape cleaning, maintenance, hospitality, public safety and human services outreach, research and market analysis for Downtown Seattle. At DSA, Don convenes public and private stakeholders to address issues around transportation and access, economic competitiveness, public space management, and other key issues that influence the way we experience the city.
