Charlotte Castle

Charlotte is the Vision Zero & Neighborhood Programs Coordinator for the City of Philadelphia’s Office of Transportation & Infrastructure Systems (oTIS). At oTIS, she supports the development of the City’s Vision Zero Action Plan and Updates, Vision Zero Task Force and sub-committees coordination, community engagement, and more. In addition to coordinating Vision Zero efforts, Charlotte manages the City’s open streets program, Philly Free Streets, which is designed to support Vision Zero outreach and engagement goals.

Charlotte has an M.A. in Geography & Urban Studies from Temple University and a B.A. in Studio Art & Africana Studies. She has a background in community development through her long-term involvement with a Southwest Philly farm and through work with various Philadelphia-based non-profit organizations. From these experience, Charlotte keeps equity central to her work for oTIS.
