Carlos Morales is a Senior Transportation Planner with the City of Santa Monica and has a Master of Arts in Urban Planning with a specialization in Transportation Planning from UCLA and a Bachelor of Arts in International and Environmental Studies from Dickinson College in Carlisle, Pennsylvania. His career started as an AmeriCorps volunteer for a non-profit Sacramento based group that worked throughout California to provide transportation alternatives to low income and minority communities. Working alongside transportation engineers, planners and political leaders Carlos has a wealth of experience with bicycle, pedestrian, and transit planning. Carlos works on large capital projects, data analysis, performance metrics, and developing policies for new mobility options.
