Anne Sherwood, P.Eng. is the first female Senior Design Engineer with the Halifax Regional Municipality. A skilled project manager and senior civil design engineer, Anne is responsible for managing the municipality’s capital program including streets and roads, active transportation and transit projects. She has lead several innovative projects in the Halifax Region including the North Park Street Upgrades Project, Highway 111 Pedestrian Bridge and the Queen Street streetscaping and undergrounding project.

With more than 15 years of experience in transportation design and construction both in private and public sector, Anne has established herself as a values-driven public servant who is known for asking “why” and “how can we do it better?”.
