I’m an organization development consultant who runs rapid strategic planning, facilitates creative online meetings, and manages remote teams for social change organizations, making them stronger than before the pandemic. I bring 15 years of leadership in nonprofit and private sector organizations, along with 8 years living and breathing cooperation in residential intentional communities. I work toward diversity, equity, and inclusion in every strategic plan, team meeting, and conversation I lead.
I believe we can make online meetings better than in-person. As executive director of a 100% remote nonprofit organization, I learned on-the-job how to communicate, build trust, resolve conflict, brainstorm, make decisions, and get things done online. My online facilitation superpowers are fostering personal connection, engaging participants in “hands-on” activities, and leveraging technology to make big decisions quickly.
I teach Effective Online Facilitation, and I am trained in Organizational Development, Racial Equity, Rethinking Anti-Racism, Nonviolent Communication, Conflict Resolution, and Transformative Mediation. I hold dual degrees in mechanical engineering and sustainable energy engineering from Northwestern University. I currently work from home in New York City.
