Angie Martinez is the Senior Right-of-Way Manager with the City of Pittsburgh’s Department of Mobility and Infrastructure, Division of Permits & Inspections. Angie and her team oversee the review, issuance, and inspection of more than 20 unique types of permits and plans needed to construct or occupy the public right-of-way (ROW). In 2019, the division issued over 30,000 permits for everything from commercial dumpsters, to sidewalk cafes, to utility cuts, to petitions to permanently vacate city streets.
Prior to joining the DOMI in 2017, Angie was a Transportation Planner with the Fairfax County Department of Transportation. Angie holds a Master’s in Urban Studies and Planning from the University of Maryland and a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Economics from West Virginia University.
