Amar Mohite, as the Director of Planning & Infrastructure for Harris County Precinct One, leads the development and coordination of multi-modal transportation and infrastructure projects. Recent projects include development of 17 miles of high-comfort bikeway network within City of Houston and 21 miles of trails and bikeways in Precinct One Park. Mr. Mohite previously led the Transportation Planning Division at the City of Houston’s Planning Department. Mr. Mohite has managed and coordinated on a range of planning and transportation projects, studies and development of ordinances inclusive of the Transit Corridor Ordinance, Complete Streets Policy, and the Houston Bike Plan.
