Amalia M. Merino is a Policy Analyst and Planning Assistant on the LARiverWorks team. She is lead for the Los Angeles River Cooperation Committee and select planning issues, parks and other LA River Revitalization Master Plan projects, the arts, public engagement, homelessness, and partnerships. She holds a BA in Economics from Smith College and a Masters in Urban and Regional Planning from UCLA.
