Allan is a Principal Professional Engineer with the City of Minneapolis Department of Public Works specializing in traffic infrastructure design and operations. In his almost 40-year career he has designed hundreds of traffic signals, has managed major ITS installations and has led City efforts in developing new traffic signal treatments for pedestrian, bicycle and transit applications.
