Adrian Leung works at SFMTA as the Bikeshare and Bike Parking Program Manager, and the Scootershare Policy Evaluation Lead. He has worked in bicycle/pedestrian planning and advocacy for 12 of the last 16 years, arriving at the SFMTA after working at non-profits, private firms, and other public agencies. He was the first person to call Donald Shoup “Shoup Dogg,” and he was bicycling Los Angeles in a time when you’d see another bicyclists and wave because it felt like a small family. He feels fortunate to be working on efforts that explicitly tackle mode shift. He’s curious about how fiscal existential questions that are circling like sharks around soft shared mobility will be resolved.
