Adetokunbo “Toks” Omishakin, M.U.R.P., is the Deputy Commissioner/Chief of Environment and Planning at the Tennessee Department of Transportation (TDOT) in October of 2011. He leads the activities of the divisions of Environmental Services, Long-Range Planning, and Multimodal Transportation Resources.

He currently serves as vice chair of the AASHTO Council on Active Transportation, first convened in the fall of 2017.
