Creating better, more equitable bike share systems and environments for biking requires complete information about current and potential riders. Intercept surveys (short surveys performed on the street or at bike share stations) collect data that other methods fail to capture–they can target specific locations; reach casual users or people who don’t ride bike share; and get information about things such as perceptions, behavior, and demographics.
Join NACTO to learn how to use NACTO’s new Bike Share Intercept Survey Toolkit to build your own surveys and data management strategy. You will come away with a deeper understanding of the unique opportunities intercept surveys provide and how to implement them.
