Join the NACTO Global Designing Cities Initiative (GDCI) team and experts from around the world for an in-depth training on the Global Street Design Guide, which broadens how to measure the success of urban streets to include access, safety and mobility for all users worldwide. This training will also cover how redesigned streets result in a better environment environmental, stronger local economies, and improved public health and overall quality of life.
This training will also showcase examples of transformational projects from across the globe that have undertaken innovative approaches to encourage streets that prioritize sustainable mobility choices and put people first. Participants will engage in active discussions along with a hands-on design charrette using tools developed by the GDCI team.
