2025 Meet the Cities Virtually #3

Jul 31, 2025 @ 3:00 pm - 4:00 pm EST (noon–1 p.m. PT)

This summer series of one-hour webinars on Zoom is a continuation of the popular, fun networking event, Meet the Cities, that takes place at Designing Cities every year. At Meet the Cities, NACTO members prepare posters on an initiative, program, or project they want to showcase. At each webinar, representatives will present the posters they created for the conference and a Q&A.

If you couldn’t make the conference or didn’t meet everyone, this is your chance to learn about what other NACTO members are working on.

On July 31, we’ll hear from:

  • Elizabeth Dupont, Transportation Planner, City of New Braunfels, TX on Neighborhood Traffic Calming Policy Update
  • Hannah Fong & Jake Berman, Transportation Planners, City of Boston, MA on Metrics for Evaluating the Impacts of our Expanding Bike Network
  • Maggie Derk, Senior Transportation Planner, City of Vancouver, WA on Complete Streets Engagement
  • Marielle Brown, Principal Planner, City of Phoenix, AZ on PhxCAN – Connected Active Neighborhoods Program
  • Nina Rinaldi, Project Manager, City of Austin, TX on Recent Quick Build and Full Build Projects
  • Sabine King, Supervising Engineer, City of Mesa, AZ on Comprehensive Safety Action Plan & Separated Bike Lanes
  • Chris Rider, Senior Transportation Engineer, Los Angeles DOT

Sessions take place on Thursdays from 3–4 p.m. ET/2–3 p.m. CT/1– 2 p.m. MT/noon–1 p.m. PT/9–10 a.m. HT.

Stop by to meet your peers and invite your team! This series is only open to staff at NACTO member agencies. Member agency staff can find information on how to join on our Member Forum. Click here for more information.
