This summer series of one-hour webinars on Zoom is a continuation of the popular, fun networking event, Meet the Cities, that takes place at Designing Cities every year. At Meet the Cities, NACTO members prepare posters on an initiative, program, or project they want to showcase. At each webinar, representatives will present the posters they created for the conference and a Q&A.
If you couldn’t make the conference or didn’t meet everyone, this is your chance to learn about what other NACTO members are working on.
On July 24, we’ll hear from:
- Christian Cambron, Project Manager, Capital Projects, IndyGo on Purple Line BRT
- Stephen Meuse, Supervising Engineer, City of Cambridge on Linear Park Redesign
- Chris McIntosh, Urban Planner III, City of Atlanta, on Tactical Urbanism
- John McFarlane, Senior Transportation Planner, City of Boulder on Baseline Road Tall Curb Protected Bike Lane
- Brad Coy, Municipal Traffic Engineer, Municipality of Anchorage on GPS Tracking of Snow Clearing Equipment and Downtown Protected Bike Lane Summer 2024 Pilot
- Charlie Simon, Staff Engineer – Traffic, City of Pittsburgh on Quick-build traffic diverters and chokers
Sessions take place on Thursdays from 3–4 p.m. ET/2–3 p.m. CT/1– 2 p.m. MT/noon–1 p.m. PT/9–10 a.m. HT.
