Focusing Transit-Oriented Development and Transit-Adjacent Development in the Urban Core
Many cities are trying to capture the economic, environmental, and social benefits of transit-oriented development, but there are often challenges to realizing the full transformative potential of transit investments to create dynamic neighborhoods and regions. Getting Value from TOD will focus on new city approaches to coordinating TOD that break down agency silos and marshall the resources needed to achieve true transit-oriented development rather than just transit-adjacent development.
