Join APBP and NACTO for a discussion about NACTO’s new Transit Street Design Guide! We’ll discuss how transit streets can be multi-modal streets that are safe and friendly for all users, and see how the principles in the Guide have been employed in two NACTO member cities.
NACTO’s Craig Toocheck will give an overview of the Transit Street Design Guide. Following, we’ll hear from David Kuperman from the City of Toronto, Teresa Boyle from the City of Portland, and Ken Zatarain and Jeff Owen from TriMet, Portland’s regional transit agency, who will discuss how Toronto and Portland integrate pedestrian and bicycle infrastructure into transit projects in their cities.
