NACTO is excited to offer a two-part training to City of Cincinnati staff and invited partners on May 27 and June 3, 2021.
This workshop will result in a shared understanding of the importance of identifying metrics to track performance on transportation projects, keeping elected officials and the public informed of the direct and indirect benefits of transportation investment, and centering equity and public engagement in transportation decision-making processes. Open to City of Cincinnati staff and invited partners.
American Cities Climate Challenge
Cincinnati is partnering with NACTO and Toole Design to foster relationships and develop practices among city and agency staff that prioritize transportation equity, access to reliable transit, and safer and more complete streets. This partnership, which includes the virtual workshop, is supported by the Bloomberg Philanthropies American Cities Climate Challenge program which aims to reduce greenhouse gas emissions in the two highest emitting sectors, buildings and transportation, through transformative interventions and policy initiatives. Cincinnati is one of 25 Climate Challenge cities; since joining the program, Cincinnati has successfully leveraged Climate Challenge partners and city resources to advance its Vision Zero program, pass Issue 7, and lower the energy burden for low-income renters.
