Getting Around
Seattle is blessed with a hilly topography that allows for stunning views of Mount Rainier, Lake Washington, and Puget Sound.
For those arriving from outside of the Puget Sound region, we’ll have ORCA transit cards available when you pick up your conference name tag and materials. The cards will be good for use on all local and regional buses, light rail, streetcar, and foot ferries for the duration of the conference. Thanks to King County Metro, and to all of the ORCA partners, including Sound Transit!
Get around by: walking, biking, Pronto bike share (60% discount code will be emailed to registered attendees), King County Metro Transit, Sound Transit (including Link light rail), by streetcar, or even by Water Taxi or monorail. Get around on four wheels with ReachNow, Zipcar, Car2Go, or Lyft.
The easiest option between the Sea-Tac airport and the conference site (and surrounding hotels) is a $3.00 direct trip on Link light rail. Just take it to the Westlake stop.
With so many options, it’s helpful to have an app: Citymapper is a good bet, covering the vast majority of trips in the region.
Discounted Hotels
Please note that a limited number of rooms are available at each hotel. If your first choice is sold out, try another, or have the Visit Seattle concierge help you find a hotel that fits your needs.
