Kelly Scocco leads the City of Columbus Department of Public Service, its five divisions, and major transportation initiatives while managing 700+ employees and operating and capital budgets of $275 million, plus an additional $270 million in grant funds.
Kelly has more than 25 years of planning experience in both the public and private sectors, including serving as Deputy Director at the Columbus Department of Public Service, Assistant Director at the city’s Department of Building and Zoning Services, and Deputy Director of Transportation System Development at the Ohio Department of Transportation.
While at Public Service, Kelly has played a City of Columbus leadership role in transformative regional mobility initiatives, including LinkUS and Vision Zero Columbus to support safe and equitable transportation for all people, whether they walk, bike, use transit or drive to get around.
Kelly earned a Bachelor of Arts in Geography and a Certificate of Urban and Regional Planning at Kent State University. Away from work, you can find her enjoying outdoor activities with her husband and three children, including bike riding on local bikeways and trails.
