Powering Progress: Making E-Micromobility Safer for Communities

Sep 30, 2025 @ 3:00 pm - 4:00 pm ET

Thanks to everyone who attended this webinar! Watch the recording below.

As e-micromobility continues to grow — through shared e-scooter and e-bike fleets, delivery by bike programs, and personally owned e-bikes and more — cities must ensure these systems are safe, consistent, and reliable. Poor charging and operational practices can lead to safety incidents, erode public trust, and jeopardize program success.

Join NACTO, UL Standards & Engagement, and industry practitioners on Tuesday, September 30 from 3:00 – 4:00 p.m. ET for a public webinar exploring how cities and operators are advancing safety through policies and programs. Participants will hear presentations from experts working on the frontlines of e-mobility implementation, followed by an open Q&A.

Speakers include:

  • Sayon Deb, Director of Primary Insights, ULSE
  • Irene Figueroa-Ortiz, Deputy Commissioner, Department of Sustainable Delivery, NYC DOT
  • Benjamin Kamber, Senior Program/Project Analyst, Mobility Services Department, Atlanta Regional Commission
  • Joshua Tharp, Program Director, Pacers Bikeshare, Indianapolis Cultural Trail, Inc.
