NACTO’s National Standards Committee directly influences national transportation design standards, drawing from the technical insight and recommendations offered by NACTO members.
The Committee meets for one hour monthly to:
- Serve as a technical advisory group to review and propose updates to the MUTCD
- Provide technical insights and recommendations for national design guidance and related documents that are developed by partner organizations
- Advance city-proven best practices through targeted education and engagement activities
- Discuss member city challenges, share resources, and present on potential solutions
