In advance of World Day of Remembrance on November 16, join a small group of your Safe System/Vision Zero peers to reflect on cities’ roles in public communication or engagement about deadly crashes. Unlike our previous big-format presentations, this will be a small group discussion for 10-12 NACTO members.
Together, we will explore how our cities support World Day of Remembrance for Road Traffic Victims activities and publicly communicate about traffic deaths in our communities. This discussion will be interesting for members focused on public communication and engagement in agencies that:
- Seek new ideas for engaging in World Day of Remembrance, have a successful approach to share, or have a lesson learned
- Have a practice for responding to fatal crashes, or seek new ideas for how to respond
This event is only open to staff at NACTO member agencies. Member agency staff can find information on how to join the meeting on our member forum, here.
