As Associate Director of Convening, Hannah manages NACTO’s Events and Field Building workstreams. This includes cultivating in-house expertise on purposeful gatherings for transportation professionals, managing partnerships, and guiding year-round virtual and in-person event programming. Hannah also leads NACTO’s annual flagship event, the Designing Cities conference. Hannah brings her expertise in project management, collaboration, and creating organizational systems to the role.
Hannah has over 9 years of experience managing mission and impact-driven convenings for nonprofits. She is passionate about event and meeting design that is welcoming, engaging, and inclusive. She is excited about creating spaces that foster the genuine connections and skill-building opportunities that enable impactful work to move forward across NACTO member cities.
Hannah’s career began in her favorite city (so far), Montréal, where she built event management skills at international non-profits such as Women in Cities International and the NewCities Foundation. It was also there that she developed a passion for vibrant public spaces and bikeable cities.
Newly based in the Bay Area, Hannah enjoys spending her free time exploring by bus, bike, and foot.
Hannah received her BA in History, World Cinemas, and Feminist and Social Justice Studies at McGill University.
