Fielding Hong is the Senior Manager of Field Building at NACTO. He works to foster a network of strategic partnerships and collaborations that yield learning opportunities and resources for transportation practitioners within and beyond NACTO’s membership network.
Throughout his career he has worked at the intersections of education, art and design, civic engagement, and social justice. Fielding has worked as both a high school history teacher in Philadelphia and a museum educator in New York. Most recently, he was the Senior Youth Education Program Manager at the Center for Urban Pedagogy (CUP), where he directed strategy for civically-engaged, project based learning programs. He holds a B.A. in Film Studies from Wesleyan University, a teaching degree from the University of Pennsylvania, and a Master’s in Culture and Gender Studies from Yonsei University in Seoul, South Korea.
